Music Ministries
At St. Francis United Methodist Church, we love to make a joyful noise. We also believe in intergenerational worship. One way we live that out is through our music ministry. We have opportunities for people of all ages and music backgrounds. No auditions are required, if you love to make a joyful noise and participate in music during worship, join our music ministry today!
Chancel Choir
Rehearsal: Wednesdays from 7-8:30 pm
The Chancel Choir is made up of adult and high school singers that share weekly in the worship life at St. Francis singing every Sunday. Everyone is welcome, no audition is required!
The Praise Band
Rehearsal: Wednesdays from 5:30-7 pm
The Praise Band is the other musical backbone of the worship experience at St. Francis, leading worship every Sunday. We are currently in need of a bass player and singers. Contact Aaron Cobb for more information!
Children’s Choir
Rehearsal: Sundays from 11:30-1 pm
The Children's Choir meets every Sunday throughout the school year. We sing in worship on the second Sunday of every month. In rehearsal, we work on basic early music concepts, rhythm, play percussion instruments, and learn Bible stories thorugh song.
St. Francis Ringers: Adult & Youth Handbells
Rehearsal: Sundays from 3-4 pm
The St. Francis Ringers is an adult and youth handbell ensemble for beginning to intermediate handbell ringers. We play in worship 2-3 times per semester. There are opportunities for small ensemble ringing as well as solo ringing.
