St. Francis Youth Group is a place for Middle and High School students to come together, have fun, and grow in faith. Through a combination of games, group outings, retreats, missions, Bible study and worship, we are able to connect with each other, with our community, and with God in a variety of ways. We offer opportunities to have open and honest discussion, ask questions, work through our doubts, and grow deeper in our faith. Our hope is that we are able to provide a little something for everyone, and that every young person that walks through our doors feels safe and welcome, and that through every encounter, they know the love of Jesus, and wish to spread that love throughout the world.

Sunday Youth GroupSunday 4:00 pm | Pavilion
We are meeting outside for fellowship and fun. During COVID we are are masked and practicing social distancing. We play games like kickball, ultimate frisbee, bocce ball, and capture the flag. We also have craft days too. This is a time for our youth to continue to grow in their friendships with one another. Contact - Jennie Dugan |
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Wednesday 6:00 pm | Pavilion
Bible study is a time to talk about the issues that youth face and read the Bible in their context. We hope that our youth learn to see how God is moving and relevant in their own lives, growing in a personal relationship with God. We provide an open space to ask questions and seek God in our world and in the Word. Contact - Jennie Dugan |
Fall Retreat - Camp Tekoa
Dates to be determined.......
We are planning morning and evening devotions,
camp activities, games, worship, s'mores, and lots of fun.
Each year, we go to Camp Tekoa in Hendersonville for our fall retreat. This is a spirit-filled weekend of rest, relaxation, and fun! We enjoy the beauty of God's creation in the Blue Ridge Mountains, play games, sing songs, and spend time in devotion and prayer with one another. This is a great weekend of bonding and growth for our youth and is typically the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Missions
Throughout the year, we participate in various mission projects (typically at least one a month) and always go on a week- long summer mission trip.
In 2021 we are planning to go on our mission trip to Lexington, SC. Next Step Ministries has created COVID safety protocols to provide a safe mission experience for our youth. |
