Music reaches into our hearts and expresses our deepest feelings. At Saint Francis, we value music as an integral part of our worship and life together. The music we hear during worship allows us to learn about and experience the love and grace of God. And through congregational singing, we rejoice and respond to His call.

At Saint Francis, we offer several opportunities for musical involvement, including adult & children's choirs, praise band, and handbells.

Adult Ensembles

Chancel Choir

Our Chancel Choir serves as essential worship leaders and provides anthems, special music, responses and musical leadership for the 10:30 worship services on Sunday mornings. Special programs include a Christmas Cantata. The Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm. New voices are always welcome! The Original Matching Capos

The Original Matching Capos is the Saint Francis praise band which sings contemporary songs accompanied by piano and guitar. They provide music for worship and special events. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the pavilion. For more information, please contact Sue Bayne.

Children's Choirs

Cherub Choir

Our preschoolers (age 3 - kindergarten) gather together for Cherub Choir on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:00pm. Our Preschool Director, Pam Cook, leads our children in fun and active Bible story songs! Our Cherubs perform during Worship throughout the year. God's Notes Choir Elementary Choir

All elementary-age children (grades 1-5) are encouraged to join the God's Notes Choir which meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:15pm from September through April. This choir is encouraged each week by their director, Beth Smith, to sing unison, 2-part & 3-part anthems; learn different languages; play rhythm games; and most importantly have fun singing in praise of their God. The God's Notes choir provides musical selections for worship throughout the year. For more information, please contact Beth Smith.

Handbell Choir

Our Chancel Bells is a youth and adult two-octave choir which enhances the music ministry at Saint Francis through the uplifting harmony of ringing bells. Rehearsals are 3:00-4:00pm on Sunday afternoons from September to May. New full-time and alternate ringers are always welcome! For more information, please contact Mike Smith.
